Since 2001 the CES RAS undertakes archaeological campaign at Memphis — one of the oldest capitals of Egypt (Memphis). Details >>>>


In 2003 the CES RAS conducted archaeological survey at Deir el-Banat (Fayoum). This site is marked with the ruins of Medieval convent and the cemetery, which functioned since Greco-Roman till Early Medieval periods. Details >>>>

In 2006 the CES RAS started archaeological survey and conservation of the Theban Tomb 23. This tomb was erected for Tjay, who was a scribe of Royal dispatchers at the court of the king Merenptah. Details >>>>>
